(More customer reviews)My handyman installed this without incident. The appearance is sleek and modern, complementing a stainless range. The fan is not tool loud and works well for the rear burners. One feature that is a bit disconcerting is that it exhausts some air from the top of the hood to cool the light bulbs. It makes me wonder if this is why it captures less fumes than I would like from the front of the stove.
UPDATE 12/05/09 FIVE stars!***** Based on advice in the first comment on my review, I had the installation checked, and in fact, the baffle was diverting part of the exhaust from the duct to the top front vents, as though it were a ductless installation. Now there is no more exhaust air at all coming out of the top front vents. I did a smoke test, and the hood now draws from the front burner area. This hood, properly installed, works as well as it looks--and that is saying a lot. Check R. Parkinson's comment for advice on correct installation of the baffle.

Well, I'm a very experienced do-it-yourselfer with a garage full of tools and I found this "kit" a time consuming pain to install in hours--- not minutes. It consists of many parts, and instructions that give you a headache after you read them 5 times to figure out what to do, poor cheap photography hard to discern, etc. The "kit" comes with many parts. The killer is you have to drill 3 holes in the can body of your existing fixture ( not a whisper about that step on the box) which is way harder than it sounds. You have no room to position a drill in the small can body... and the metal can is hard to drill. You must use a punch to mark a precise point for the hole-- but the can moves around every time you try to hammer the punch. My drill "walked" all around the can even after using a punch. I felt like a dentist trying to work a drill and tools in such a small space! Then trying to get all the various parts to line up with an infinite variety of lights fixture is problematic. Bottom line- the product is not well designed and is very hard to install despite marketing claims to the contrary. I'm sure a better design is possible-- certainly a good product concept-- just poor design/execution.

Disney's Cars Sheet Set - Twin Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this sheet set, along with the Disney Cars Comforter Twin, for my four-year-old Cars fanatic and he was thrilled. My son falls asleep snugly wrapped up in Disney Cars characters each night.
Although the pictures and graphics on the fabric are vivid and colorful, neither the comforter nor the sheets are particularly soft. If your kids care about such things, I'd recommend you break out the fabric softener before you make the bed. Of course, for the price, I was not expecting Egyptian cotton.
As expected, the set included a fitted sheet, bed sheet, and pillowcase. One side of the pillowcase features Lightning McQueen, and the other side depicts Mater the tow truck. The graphics on the sheets are cool enough, but the really eye-popping art is saved for the pillow and Disney Cars Comforter Twin.

(More customer reviews)First of all I LOVE, LOVE LOVE, this product, The Complete Art Hanging System and have now purchased this product I think about 5 or 6 times. I was disappointed however, that I could not order this product in "bulk" or all at one time, as to not have to pay the $30.00 shipping cost each time I purchased one set, since only 1 is available at a time. In turn, I ended up ordering each set as a separate transaction. This slowed me up, quite a bit, trying to get them installed for the next upcoming art show and also calling out an installer to come out for 4 visits sure added up. As a consumer, my input coming from my own personal experience is really my only complaint. Would be awesome if these could be ordered in bulk for future purchases. I have highly recommended this product to about four associates now in the art scene, but have also alerted every person about this very issue from the ordering aspect. Just would be nice to have the option of order for example, 4 sets all at once and pay one shipping fee cost. Also if you need more hooks, rail brackets, or suspension wire, from what I can tell, you pretty much have to order a whole new system, just to get more of any extra items. Some of my tracks had to be custom cut, so I have "extra" short rails that I wanted to have installed on a few on my short walls but there are only enough brackets to hang the even set.
On the contrary, I must sum up this review by saying as far as customer product satisfaction goes, that this product is FANTASTIC and such a great addition to my art gallery! It makes it look so classy and the product is very easy to use and is pretty much hassle-free! The cables a very heavy duty and what I love best about them is they are kink-free and bounce back into shape, even after the extra ends have been coiled up. So in review of the product, I have to give it 5 stars!!!

(More customer reviews)I purchased this lamp because I liked the way it was described in terms of size and colors, and the way it was pictured. The order arrived within the week, and the lamp was packaged well. The base is heavy, looks good, but I am displeased with the colors on the shade. While the dragonflies are OK, the base color of the shade is mostly green, and dark green at that. Even with a 60W bulb it looks very dark - nothing like the picture. Without the light on, it looks almost black. Very disappointing!
