(More customer reviews)I bought this lamp to cut the gloom under the corner shelf over my computer monitor at my desk. I was worried that the LED light would wind up being a harsh, distracting bluish glare, but this lamp gives off very pleasing, warm light, more pleasant even than the built-in fluorescent lamp at my desk. Now I can put family photos on the wall under my shelf and enjoy them.
The light is not quite as bright as I thought it would be - more of an "accent." I had been hoping I could light the entire area under the corner shelf with a single unit, but I'll need a second one for the left side. The pair of them will work very nicely, though.
The shape and light weight of the tube permits simple and flexible positioning with just a couple of dots of velcro. The cord is long enough to make aesthetically-pleasing routing easy.
