(More customer reviews)Although this Cuisinart Classic stainless set is a big improvement over discount store cookware, Amazon also sells Cuisinart's higher quality, though confusingly similarly named, Chef's Classic set for just a few dollars more. The Chef's Classic set has more substantial construction, with professional handles and stainless steel lids. For the few extra dollars it's probably the best value and performance in a stainless set, short of full tri-clad construction such as All-Clad or Cuisinart's own Multi-clad.
BTW, the top ratings from online cooking sites are for the step-up Chef's Classic set, rather than this item.
