(More customer reviews)Generally, the book case looks good. But, it took almost 6 hours to assemble. The drilled holes and door hardware on the lower right-hand side of the right door did not match up leaving the door a bit out of square. The right door magnetic stop, as a result, did not come into contact with the matching magnet. The magnetic stop had to be moved higher on the door so it would contact the magnet. Also, the screws for the left door magnet would not tighen down, as a result of which, the left door is not firmly attached. I will never buy an unassembled piece of furniture again!

(More customer reviews)I got this desk three months ago based just on the looks of it on Amazon. I think it looks better in the photos here than in my room, because almost all of the space is occupied by something. One thing I did not realize, and which the photo does not show, is the fact that the miles of wiring for two computers, printer, speakers, router, etc., will show right through the glass. I will have to work on that with tubing or something. The other thing to note is that the steel frames on the desktop - two outer and two inner - are not flush with the glass. This is a good thing for the outer edges, but the inner frames could be a problem if the monitor is lying on it, or if you want to place your mouse pad over it, which I really wish I could. The frame is about two millimeters above the glass. The glass top has moved a little whenever I have moved the monitors. But other than that, I am pleased with the desk, especially for the price.

(More customer reviews)This computer desk is very easy to put together; I guess it took about one - very leisurely - hour from start to finish.
It is definitely sturdy enough for my purposes.
Interestingly enough, outside of the framing and glass apparatus, it came with two more of everything (i.e. screws and plugs) than needed.
While it does come with an Allen wrench you will need to furnish your own Phillips head screwdriver.
Finally, I now know what tempered glass means! ; )
