(More customer reviews)Installed this fan in a smallish home office as a replacement for an old standard fan. Installing was easy and straight forward. The unit has a small fan for the heater that sounds like small jet engine. Not only is it annoyingly loud but wholly inefficient. I would never recommend this for heating a room, or even supplemental heat. Save your money and buy a nice fan instead.

Hunter 21894 52-Inch Westover Heater FanThe Westover Four Seasons Heater Fan cools your home when the weather is warm, heats it when winter comes, and looks great the whole year through. Ideal for adding comfort to a bedroom or family room, the Westover may also act as the sole means of cooling and heating a space year-round. Either way, this fan is sure to help you heat, cool, and save on energy bills all year long.
Energy Efficiency EverydayHunter ceiling fans are designed for energy efficiency everyday, which means they get better performance using less energy. Other ceiling fans may claim efficiency with low-wattage motors, but they move little air. Competitors also compromise on blade pitch and blade surface area, which makes a fan even less efficient. Thankfully, Hunter ceiling fans harmonize precision craftwork with a one-of-a-kind motor for air movement.
Exclusive WhisperWind MotorThe WhisperWind motor found in the Westover Four Seasons Heater Fan Fan delivers ultra-powerful air movement with whisper-quiet performance, so you get the power you want--without the noise you don't.
Like all Hunter motors, the WhisperWind motor features copper wiring that has a balanced temperature rise in each winding. This eliminates hot spots for increased motor reliability and longevity. Additionally, the motor utilizes precision-engineered large and small ball bearings that provide minimal resistance and friction for virtually noise-free operation. And for even greater efficiency, the motor features an internal impeller that facilitates air circulation to keep the motor cool and to ensure long life.
Combined, these exclusive Hunter motor technologies result in 15% improved performance, 20% longer life, 20% less noise, and up to 47% savings on energy costs.
700-Watt Illumi-Heat Lighting FixtureThe Westover is unique among ceiling fans in that it features a 700-watt Illumi-Heat Lighting Fixture and PTC ceramic heating element that can keep your home feeling cozy during colder months. The aerodynamic design directs heat downward, and the fan offers three-speed downdraft and updraft options. Also, the blades help circulate heat evenly throughout a room, helping to prevent cold spots and to lengthen the time between each heat cycle.
Savings Without SacrificeIn the summer, use this unique fan conventionally to cut back on air conditioning--without sacrificing comfort. When it gets cold, make the switch to heat, so you can stay warm at a lower thermostat setting. Ideal for adding comfort to a bedroom or family room, the Westover may also act as the sole means of cooling and heating a space year-round. Either way, this fan is sure to help you save on energy bills all year long.
Durable Fan is Easy to Install and OperateDesigned with homeowners in mind, this fan features Hunter's patented EZ Hang Mounting System, which makes installation simple and safe. The Westover installs just like a standard ceiling fan with no dedicated circuit required. For further convenience, the fan can be mounted two different ways--in a standard or angled position--for strong, Wobble-Free performance.
Made to perform beautifully for years to come, the Westover features an integrated 120-watt bowl light fixture that uses three 40-watt candelabra bulbs (included). A remote control is also included for separate operation of light, heat, and fan functions.
The Westover is backed by Hunter's famous Limited Lifetime Motor Warranty.
