(More customer reviews)I wanted to get my boyfriend some nightlights that looked cooler than standard nightlights, but would still provide me with enough light to get around his condo at night. I was really nervous that these nightlights would be cheesy, but they really aren't. You can adjust the light to change colors in a flash (which, I have to admit, looks a little cheesy) or fade from one color to the next, which is actually pretty cool. You can also set it to stay on one single color, that's what my boyfriend did - he likes the green. Plus, it has a light sensor, so you don't have to worry about switching it on and off. We both really love the nightlights and they look great in his condo!

(More customer reviews)I like these nightlights. I have one in every room except the bedroom and they light up the place so I can walk around.
The light sensors don't turn them off unless the light is really bright and near the unit but I understand that those light sensors get more sensitive with time.
They have 2 places where the light goes out. A round circle covered with a "defuser" which spreads the light out evenly in a circle and a smaller oval with a "grate" over it which sends the light out as if it was shining through bars. I put the circle down toward the carpet to cut down on the glare off the ceiling and walls.
The 360° rotation allows you to send the light in any direction.

(More customer reviews)This light casts a great array of vivid colors w/out being too bright. In fact, I don't think its glow is a bright as the typical "yellow" glow cast by most night lights. Too bad the fish don't move as the light changes color, but that's not a big deal. Overall, a very nice item. Will be good to use when traveling and staying in hotels where you need some type of light to guide you in a dark room in the middle of the night.
