(More customer reviews)I ordered this picture light directly from Lamps Plus. You will need at least 2 1/2 inches of flat frame to mount. The switch is only 18 inches from light. The protective ring for the cord easily comes out. I think it better mounted on wall and maybe for smaller picture. The light is quite high above the picture thus focusing light on larger picture is likely to show bulbs. Service, except ignoring my review, by Lamps Plus was very good. Light is attractive. I sent a review to Lamps Plus, but they chose not to accept it.
