(More customer reviews)This is a very attractive light, unobtrusively illuminating large items. It has a few drawbacks, however.
First, the mounting system lacks versatility and stability...one of mine is actually reinforced with tape, to be sure it stays up!
Second, the set-screw which stabilizes the rotation of the lamp can easi;ly dissappear into the lamp base if the lamp is not held UP onto the arm while tightening.
Third, it gets very hot, and I can find no guarantees that the light-type will not fade valuable artwork.
Fourth, there is little adjustment for height vis-a-vis the picture, and none for distance.
Fifth, the packaging and instructions do not mention the bulb-type needed for replacement.
On the plus side, it has the good looks just mentioned, as well as a very long neutral-colored cord.
