One thing to watch out for is that it is made of iron and after just a few minutes of holding a lit candle, the top half of the tower will get very hot. It is an awesome spectacle when lit in a dark room. I would recommend this detailed model to all Paris fans and fans of the eiffel tower.

(More customer reviews)The item is intricate, having villagers and lighted villages placed throughout the tree, Santa in his sleigh is pulled by the eight reindeers around the tree's Star topper, and 3 trains circle within. I was concerned about its shipping, and found it very carefully packed. I haven't counted the number of songs the music box unwinds, but there are many, and the music is delightfully complex. The tree can be `on' with lights, music and motion or without the music box. You can choose to power it with either the adapter or 3 AAA batteries... instructions advise to not have the batteries installed when using the adapter. The unit turns itself off after an hour. I found that my new AAA batteries provided operation for only 2 or 3 plays (hours). The battery cover is held by a very small screw and with the tree being so very intricate, I am cautious when turning it over to unscrew the cover to remove/install new batteries - and hate to disturb the snowflake glitter. I've decided that for centering the tree on a table for company viewing on all sides, I'll use the batteries. Otherwise, for its viewing on a side table, I'll use the adapter. Empty nesting, holiday decorating is no longer enjoyable, but this lovely and more sophisticated décor gave back the pleasure.

(More customer reviews)I actually purchased two boxes of these from a local home improvement center sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas of last year. I purchased them solely as ambient exterior lighting around my home. Since they looked so good, I decided to purchase two more boxes; however, that store no longer carried them since they were just a seasonal item (they only carry them during the Christmas Holiday season). So, I did an internet search and found them here on Amazon. The price was 'right', so I ordered two boxes. They arrived quickly and were just what I had ordered and what I had expected. Like another reviewer had mentioned, I too had lost a couple of the lenses which had 'popped off' one night during a freezing snowstorm. Unfortunately, because of their crystalline appearance/design, I could not find them anywhere. Fortunately, I eventually found them both after the snow had melted away. Evidently, those two lenses must've become unseated during shipment, because after 'snapping' them back into place, they have remained in place during subsequent freezing snowfalls. Their illumination is just bright enough for me and I really enjoy their subdued glow (not too bright and not too dull). Best of all, since they are LED, they hardly consume any power whatsoever and I have 'burned' these bulbs nearly every night for six months now. All remains well...cheers.

I've used folding screens for this purpose before, and this one looked perfect for the job, with its hanging rack and small shelves.
It's not an expensive piece, but I would not buy it again. Several of the welds have broken in the time I have had it (less than a year), and it is both flimsy and tippy due to the way it is screwed together.

(More customer reviews)I can't say enough good things about these lights. They're pricey, but it seems to be hard to find good looking solar string lights. They're hand blown glass, and absolutely gorgeous. There is a very generous amount of wire between the solar panel and the first light, so it's much easier to put them somewhere sunny for charging. They also come with hooks for hanging, which is a first that I've seen from any seller. These lights are heavier than the typical string light, due to the thick glass. They do glow for a long time at night. It's nearly 1am here and mine are going strong. The picture provided by the seller is very accurate to how they look at night. It's a beautiful electric blue, and it highlights the beautiful hand-made features of the glass. Perfect for mood lighting on your patio or in your garden.

biUbe Aquarium with Halogen Light, Black, 9 Gallons Review

(More customer reviews)I first read about this thing in the NY Times and the article was generally glowing. Of course they only interviewed the owner of the company for the story. The thing that sold me in the article was that this was a super sleek design. The picture on the cover of the box certainly makes one think this as well. With just a little more effort this could have been an artful design - but the company skimped and it's really just a plain aquarium with some accessories in the box. First as pictured here the fish would die within a few hours. You need a (not included) heater in order to keep the fish in this picture. The heater is a big ugly unit that attaches via suction cups to the back of the aquarium. The round shape only makes things worse - it tends to magnify the heater when looking at the thing from the front. They skimped - a better design would have been a built-in sleak heater along the bottom of the unit. With the addition of the heater there are now 3 power cables running behind the aquarium. These seem to be artfully Photoshoped out in the picture. 3 power cables does not equal elegant design. In an all in one unit like this why not have a single power cable into the head unit - that would have been sleak. The pump on this thing is loud, as we found out there are much quiter pumps than the one that ships in the box. Loud pump does not equal elegant design. Along with the three power cables dangling off the back, an air cable also needs to dangle out there. Again you don't see this in the picture - a much better design would have been to build the airpump and air cable into the top peice of this unit.
I ended up returning it. I next went to the most reputable aquarium store in the area and had them build up an aquarium with the same specs as this one. It ended up being quiter, cheaper and in the end sleaker. I think that it is possible to make a more artfully designed aquarium, but the biUbe doesn't come close.
Oh and the NYTimes gets 1 star for their article as well.

He has also learned the names of the sea animals that display on the side of the turtle. Over all this is a great night light it has satisified my sons sleeping needs and mine, I even bought the ladybug one for my baby niece.

(More customer reviews)Great and really lights up the room. Its easy to put in and does its job well. My place has no lights in it so only lamps can be used. As the room it is in it used for studio work on computers I dint want a lot of bright light but found at times needing a brighter light that filled the room helped when going through and sorting equipment when packing for a project. So with this I can pack, unpack or check over things in a nice light and when working on the computers I can use the low light provided by the small lights I have.
The picture though is not the same. The product I got was pure white with perfectly straight rings. It still looks good and works perfectly but its not rthe item that was pictured.
