(More customer reviews)I purchased this on 2 separate orders, and both times the cardboard/plastic package around the bulb was open and the bulb was loose in the[Amazon] box.They did work however,and provide a beautiful warm light in my mica desk lamp.I would give the bulb 5 stars and the packaging 0, if I could.I hope if Amazon gets in a new shipment of these the problem will have been corrected as I would like to order more.

(More customer reviews)Well you either need this exact bulb or you don't. This bulb is used in a bath room fixture that is dimmed. I have found that other brands of bulbs sometimes "sing" when dimmed. GE's don't(so far). I couldn't find this GE bulb locally so I ordered from Amazon. Importantly the service was prompt and the bulbs were packed well and all survived the shipping experience.
