(More customer reviews)I am in the process of installing a tile backsplash and I wanted to add some undercounter lighting to accent the tile. I looked at three Warm lighting kits: This kit, the Super Bright LED under cabinet cove, Full kit, 10 light panels, 2 powersupplies, warm white LEDs!, and the Under Cabinet and accent LED Lights - 10 panel set, warm white LEDs. I am very pleased with this kit and I am glad I got the one I did. The extra brightness of the Super Bright 21 LED's (vs 10 in the cheaper version) works great. It's hard to tell from the picture but the strips of LEDs are only about 8" long so the extra brightness is nice. I'm also glad I got the dimmer switches. The only difference in the Super Bright Full kit and the Deluxe kit I got is the addition of 2 dimmer switches. Both products show the same product picture, but this one does include two dimmer switches. It really is nice to be able to adjust the brightness so it's full bright for when you are cooking and preparing food and low light for some nice backlighting or mood lighting. You can always get the Super Bright kit without the dimmers and add them later as well (they are $20 a piece on the manufacturer's site).
As for installation, this has to be the easiest wiring job I've ever done. It's literally plug and play. I drilled one hole to pass the wire through the top of my cabinet to hide the plug. Otherwise it's all 2-sided tape and screws. A screwdriver is the only tool I needed. The kit included everything I needed and then some. The ONLY thing I would change is a few more screws would be nice. I like to screw everything in addition to using the 2-sided tape and the number of screws was plenty for the LED strips and some of the wire bundle holders, but I could have used a few more for the wire bundles holders. It's a minor complaint though as my use of screws is likely overkill. I just wanted to make sure that over time the wires don't fall down due to gravity pulling on the two sided tape. I ended up just using the 2-sided tape on a handful of wiring bundle holders until I can buy a few more screws.
The kit came packaged very well and I got it in a matter of days - Priority Mail. I can also buy add on parts or accessories directly from Inspired LED if I need to. This kit is so nice and easy to install I may install more on top of my cabinets to light up the plant ledge. I actually ended up using 1 extra LED strip for this and it looks great. I'll try and add a customer picture to the product page to give you an idea.
In short, you won't regret buying this kit. My only regret is not doing this earlier. It would have really helped during the installation of the backsplash to provide some nice work lights.

(More customer reviews)This is an excellent solution for undercabinet lighting in our kitchen. The warm-white LEDs look much better than the commonly available cold white LEDs. And installation couldn't be much easier. Our cabinets had a little overhang, which made for a perfect installation for these very thin light strips. The strips and wiring are not visible at all unless you stick your head under the cabinet. I plan to connect the transformers to the overhead lighting circuit so they all come ON together. I bought the package that included the dimmer, but did not use/need it, so if I did this again, I'd order this less expensive package without the dimmer. Your needs may vary (e.g., if you're lighting a china cabinet or similar).
See the before-after photo I uploaded for this product. That portion of the kitchen shown used 7 of the 10 strips that came with this package. Looks pretty good, heh?

(More customer reviews)These are excellent lights for places where you can't readily install a powered light fixture, or for emergency preparations (in the car, with your home emergency supplies, for power outages, etc.). Each light is powered with three AAA batteries, and have five LED bulbs inside. The front cover is such that the light is evenly distributed, not as five individual light dots.The battery life on LED lights are far superior to the halogen light bulbs. I'm using 1.2V NiMH rechargeable AAA batteries and they work just fine (one word of advice: If you do decide to use rechargeable batteries, go for the Sanyo Eneloop batteries that hold their charges for a long, long time--the Eneloops are supposed to hold 85% of their charges after 1 year in storage; most NiMH batteries lose their charge in weeks).
Highly recommended!

(More customer reviews)I was a bit apprehensive with this purchase -- would it be bright enough to light up my (decent sized) hall closet? Some of the reviews of the other (smaller) RightLite products mentioned them not being bright enough.
It turns out that is NOT a problem with this light bar -- it's bright and it does a fabulous job of lighting up my closet. Because the lights pivot and turn I can position it throw the light in 4 different directions and get a really nice distribution of light.
Time will tell how long the batteries will last but given that this is an LED light driven by 6 (AAA) batteries, I'd expect decent battery life, particularly in a hall closet where it won't be used for extended periods.
