(More customer reviews)This is a very attractive light, unobtrusively illuminating large items. It has a few drawbacks, however.
First, the mounting system lacks versatility and stability...one of mine is actually reinforced with tape, to be sure it stays up!
Second, the set-screw which stabilizes the rotation of the lamp can easi;ly dissappear into the lamp base if the lamp is not held UP onto the arm while tightening.
Third, it gets very hot, and I can find no guarantees that the light-type will not fade valuable artwork.
Fourth, there is little adjustment for height vis-a-vis the picture, and none for distance.
Fifth, the packaging and instructions do not mention the bulb-type needed for replacement.
On the plus side, it has the good looks just mentioned, as well as a very long neutral-colored cord.

In the first, we stated that we were happy with the product in terms of ease of installation (absolutely the easiest option when illumination of a piece of art is required) and light quality (is soft, pleasant, but strong) BUT dissatisfied with one of the light bulbs, which went out in less than 24 hours and proved to be expensive and arduous to replace. Since then, the company contacted us with an apology and offer to send replacements or refund. Thus, we would now like to express overall contentment with our purchase and customer service experience. We didn't expect anything to come out of our review and it made all the difference in the world that our complaint was immediately and fairly addressed. And, once more, we found the product to be extremely convenient to install, reasonable priced, and functional, especially in comparison to other picture light options, which we investigated ad nauseum.

I opened it up and tried to loosen the bolt to turn it but ended up bruising my finger. It would not move! I think they made it this way to fit into the packaging but the bolt is so tight you cannot turn it so the light is rendered useless as you cannot mount it to the wall or the frame! (More customer reviews)This is an excellent solution for undercabinet lighting in our kitchen. The warm-white LEDs look much better than the commonly available cold white LEDs. And installation couldn't be much easier. Our cabinets had a little overhang, which made for a perfect installation for these very thin light strips. The strips and wiring are not visible at all unless you stick your head under the cabinet. I plan to connect the transformers to the overhead lighting circuit so they all come ON together. I bought the package that included the dimmer, but did not use/need it, so if I did this again, I'd order this less expensive package without the dimmer. Your needs may vary (e.g., if you're lighting a china cabinet or similar).
See the before-after photo I uploaded for this product. That portion of the kitchen shown used 7 of the 10 strips that came with this package. Looks pretty good, heh?

When informed of the situation, the company was very good. They sent another light immediately, saying thst it wasn't necessary to return the old light. The new light works as it should and I am pleased with it.

It looks great and is easy to install, but the off / on switch is on the light, so you will need to always have access to it. (Don't mount it very high)
It will need to be taken down often to change the batteries since they will only last about 12 to 20 hours.
I have lots of images and art that I want lights for, but I would not purchase another one of these.

(More customer reviews)The adjustability and light output are great. The remote is poor: you must be within about 4 feet of the light for it to work. Also, there is a loud beep each time the light is turned on/off or changed in intensity. There is no need for a very loud beep! I would recommend the light, but DO NOT pay more for the remote.

Finally, I have found the a/c plug where it attaches to the fixture to be loose, making the connection fail. Only by turning the fixture upside down was I able to fix it.
