Wine Butler Glass Rack - Espresso Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)When the item first arrived it was very poorly packed and damaged. Amazon was very good about getting me a replacement. The second package looked much better but I had to search around for all of the screws and hardware as they were loose in the box. The instructions for assembly were not clear and the parts did not fit together easily. After assembling the item I noticed that there was some residue or glue on the top of the cabinet. I do not want to have to disassemble the item and return it again so I have kept it. Overall, for the price I paid I was very dissapointed in the quality of the product. It solved my storage problem but caused more trouble than I had ever anticipated.

Wine Rack Wood -60 Bottles Modular Hardwood Wine Racks (10 bottles x 6 shelves) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)There is a nearly identical product called Modularack, which looks the same, but is not hardwood. The two systems do not fit together. I unfortunately now have both, because I did not realize that "modular wine rack" and Modularack were two different products. Modularack is more stable. The design of this wine rack allows bottles that are wider at the bottom to slip off the rack.

Wine Rack Wood -72 Bottles Modular Hardwood Wine Racks (12 bottles x 6 shelves) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The Rack works well for cab or merlot bottles. Any Bottle with a tapered neck will fall through. Hard to explain but trust me you wouldn't want to store an expensive bottle of Pinot or bubbles on this one.

Functional Rolling Kitchen Cart w/Drawer & Wine Rack Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a solid wood kitchen cart which includes a knife box, a drawer, a towel rack, a cutting board, a wine rack shelf that holds 6 bottles, and a metal push handle. I purchased this product in April 2007 ($119/ + $34 s&h & tax) and received it in a relatively timely manner. It was fairly simple to put together, although the instructions were sparse (mostly pictures and hardly any text). Assembled in about 30 min once all parts had been accounted for. The only downfall was that it arrived with a damaged & unusable towel rack. Target sells the product, but the manufacturer is some place in Washington state. I tried to call them, but it was the weekend and they were closed. Notwithstanding that, this kitchen cart has performed well for almost 2 months. It is sturdy (except the chrome push handle is coming loose) and it has been used a lot. Works well as a table or counter extension, a vegetable cutting area (Although it comes with a wooden cutting board, I prefer to use one of those $3 thin plastic cutting sheets over a layer of newspaper -- that seems to hand the mess much better!), wine rack, breakfast bar, serving tray, or even a smoothie preparation station! This item has 4 casters and rolls well on a flat surface (minimal effort to move it over a rug); two casters are lockable.
Finally, the appearance is aesthetically pleasing and its beechwood beige color is sure to match almost any color scheme. I highly recommend this item, but call the company for a refund if yours comes broken like mine did. Also, it might be wise to modify this unit with locking washers for the chrome hardware.

Wine Enthusiast Hanging Metal Stemware Rack Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This stemware rack was easy to install, looks good, and performs well. I am a professional kitchen designer and installer, and elected to use this rack rather than the one available from the cabinet manufacturer. It worked our better, as we are using a low profile flourescent light fixture above it. We mounted the back side of the rack to the extended back of the cabinet, and made some spacers for the front installation point. The recessed light is above the rack, and is hardwired, so it is not necessary to switch it on and off at the fixture, which is a must. It is a little difficult to relamp the fixture, but it can be done without removing the rack. The effect of the stemware lit from above is quite dramatic. I will definitely use this installation detail again.
