(More customer reviews)I have been looking for something to light up a dark staircase leading up to our third floor guest room. This product turned out to be a perfect solution. It only took a few minutes to install and does a great job at lighting up the stairs without being too bright. The sensor turns on the light only when you approach the stairs and there is an ajustment so that you can set the amount of time the lights stay on.
I also like that the design is not too bulky and blends in fairly well with the trim going up the stairs.
Overall, I'm very happy with this product and would recommend it for a quick and easy way to light an area without getting an electrician involved.

In addition, the whole assembly when plugged in gets so hot as to stir the fear of fire. I returned mine for these reasons.

They put out a good deal of light which is nice in the winter in Alaska and save on electricity because they are motion detecting. I was so impressed that I bought all that they had at Ft. Wainwright commissary. They are cheaper on post!

(More customer reviews)The first light was terible. One LED didn't work at all, the light would go on and off without even touching it, or when my hand was near but not on the switch. The dim positiion did not work at all.
When informed of the situation, the company was very good. They sent another light immediately, saying thst it wasn't necessary to return the old light. The new light works as it should and I am pleased with it.
